Ok car people,2010 challenger and on our normal ride night. Stop to talk on phone an hear a noise. Get out and the car is spewing antifreeze. Overflow tank was BOILING and spitting out fluid!!!!

odds are, the air wasn't purged out of the cooling system correctly.

This will lead to air pockets, which will create super heated steam. It will then boil the coolant.

The correct way to purge the system. Engine on, turn heater controls to full hot (opens up valve for heater core). Shut engine off.

>remove air intake tube (for access)

>remove threaded plug from top of water pump

>fill coolant tank until coolant runs from opening. Install the plug

>continue filling the coolant tank until reaching the "Cold fill" mark.

wait to see if any air continues to purge out and adjust coolant level.

Install the cap and test drive vehicle to make sure everything is functioning properly.

Damn, its going back to the dealer then, they can fix it. Was fine before the die timing chain Thanks
