Has anyone converted to a Hurst shifter with white or blk ball using the Oem factory plate. Only sliding over arm and ball not removing anything else.

If so, how does it work when installed? Does the larger rectangular size affect shifting or how it sits into the different gates?

For 14' AT

Thanks

It should work the same as stock. There is a web site that sells just the shaft and knob. I think its core-shifters or something like that.

We have the white ball and chrome dress up stick cover on our 2013 Classic with the stock shifter plate. Looks way better than stock and works great! White ball is some type of resin, highly recommend for us desert dwellers!

Got it from Core on ebay.

Here's my Core shifter with Hurst handle & knob.

Shifts great, not notchy as with a Hurst linkage...been there before.

<EDIT> Just noticed that your car is an A5...please disregard this post. My bad. :notallthere:
