Anybody Planning on Removing the RAM Hood Emblem, if so, why?

I myself am kind of on the fence about this. I also know that there are infinitely more important mods then this but i just want to hear some of y'alls reasoning one way or the other. I was just about to replace mine with one of those "mopar 10" ones until they started screwing around with the astrology signs late last year. Being an Aries I was being migrated over to the Pisces camp until I found out that I was in no way effected by the change. Some like the RAM some don't. Heck even Dodge itself has pulled the ram from everything but the pick up trucks so that's a president for its removal if there ever was one. Maybe the shinny head is just out of character(out of place) on our Challengers hoods, so what say you all?
Thanks in advance!

I was going to remove mine, but I wanted to keep my SRT in stock condition. After two years, it doesn't bother me at all.
I'm changing mine out to a BT Mopar logo.
The RAM belongs on....
A RAM..
TRUCK.
Here's my newly aquired 09 Ram 1500 to match my 09 RT
It's SWEET!

for 2011's there's no emblem at all, guess Dodge finally figured out most didn't want it.
Hey Vichris Nice ride, love that pic. Your car just pops with that backround

Thanks rad340......it was the only decent pic I had that showed the badge....didn't intend to hijack.......:bigthumb:
My small number of posts reflects the fact that we just got our new 2010 R/T. I'm usually one who starts taking emblems off a new car/truck/motorcycle as soon as I get home since I like a "clean" look. However, the ram's head on the nose is in a depression so removing it wouldn't be a good idea. Also, I've read that it's not simply attached with adhesive but also has some sort of "peg." So my question is where are you people finding some of the alternative badges that I've seen and read about on the forum?

Thanks ---
Is it bolted on the back like the Chargers, If so can you get at it pretty easy....haven't even thought about it till this thread

Billet Technologies has a bunch - and I believe you can do custom for bit more $

It is not a bolt on like the charger. it has 2 tabs that need to be pryed out. Speedy has an excellent video on youtube showing how to remove and replace with a billet tech one.

The nose badge was the first to go, then i drilled a hole in the wheel center caps and yanked those out also!

Hate the truck emblem. My Dodge Challenger is not a Dodge Ram. It is a R/T Classic so I went with the classic pentastar

Much better

I like the looks of the ram on the nose, i must be in the minority though. (I'm a Ares/Taurus cusp) I'm considering replacing the badge for a custom one from rebadge.com but it really depends on how the artwork for the engine cover turns out before considering it. If i like the engine cover, i may do the nose badge to match somewhat. Still waiting for the applique to arrive with several other items so won't know for a few more weeks.
Not a fan of the truck emblem on my car. Not a fan of using the auto parts division logo (Mopar) on my car. Not a fan of using the Chrysler logo on my Dodge. The ONLY emblem I can see putting on it is the FRATZOG. That's what's going on it when I get back.
If anyone removes their ram logo can I have it as I want more.
They forgot to put one in the back, lets see 1 on each wheel and one on the steering wheel and then the front nose.Thats six might as well make it seven.
I have been debating what I wanted to replace the Ram with for awhile. I couldn't decide what I want in its place, and you can't really delete it because if the indent. I have to admit I was jealous when the 2011s came out with their clean noses. I know it would be crazy expensive, but couldn't you replace the bumper cover with the 2011 part? No more badge indent to fill...
I'm going with a Decepticon Theme on my chally... I know its little cliche, but I'm a geek, and love it :D

I considered that as well. I remember the Fratzog being on the door panels of my '72. But when I looked at it I was reminded of a Polara and not a Challenger. I guess to me the Fratzog is 60's. The pentastar was 70's.

problaby cost as much as just going to a body sho and having them smooth it out and repaint.

i never cared for the logo. it will be one of the first changes when i get started on the car. just as said a 100x reminds them of the trucks and this definatly isn't a truck.

Okay, I must be out of the loop or have been living under a rock but what exactly is a "FRATZOG"? That one is a mystery to me, a picture might help. Thanks in advance!
Doozle. :scratchhead:
