Curious to see some other angles other than the one i can find online. Ordered my kit from arrington, and they said itd be the new style, the one that wraps all the way around the engine.

Can you post the one picture you know of?

That's it for sure. I dunno if I am a fan of all those 90 degree turns. However, the pressure drop in the aftercooler should be reduced and it looks better. I would think the extra cooling effects moving it away form the intake is negated by the extra piping doing a loop around the intake. Would love to see some numbers.

Thats it ryan.

Oh they will come soon japexico :D then we'll be smashin all these 5doughs around central texas haha

As far as cooling, i think the IAT would def get some better, might take a little bit longer to build boost though. it would seem that way at least. More volume of air to bring to same pressure.

I wonder if one were to swap intakes for a 2010 and prior, would the original Vortech system not work? (Just thinking out loud)

im also not a fan of wrapping around the entire motor ... that's going to heat up the air after leaving the intercooler .. its a long way around the motor

I don't think so I wanted one for my 12 rt intakes are the same but the bracket holding it is diff I think due to having a electric power steering is what I think it is waiting to hear back from them .. I'm not crazy about the bends or the wraping around the motor all that the hear extractor was over the headers to an extent on the old model .. Just my .02

I agree with the concerns everyone above has mentioned, but I would also be concerned about engine maintenance and inspection.

You would have to remove almost all of the piping to change spark plugs, at least the front section to change the belt, and can you even get to the dipstick?
