I want to install HID headlights on my car. I've seen a few challengers with these. I installed them on my Benz too. You can get good quality aftermarket HID light kits now for $80-$100 (screw the $900 the dealers want).

I remember reading and, in fact, one of the light companies informed me, that another compoment is needed when installing HID kits on Chryslers. It is an electrical relay or regulator or something. It prevents the lights from flickering.

Does anyone know what this part is, how it is intalled, etc? Anyone here install HID lights on their car that can help me out???

I got my kit from BFXenon, a vendor here on the forum. The part you are referring to is a power relay harness that provides power to your headlights through a relay-actuated battery circuit rather than the stock wires to the bulbs. I have no flicker with the kit and the relay harness.
