I have a 2013 6.4, and it was determined from a dealer tech that I had one of my lifters go bad. The motor has a knock to it. Sounds like detonation when I accelerate. Doesn't do it any other time. He found a piece of metal in the mds sensor, and a misfire on #1. So my question is, can I drive it about 50 miles to my house? When I checked the dipstick, there is no flakes in the oil. We thought I got some bad gas. Doesn't seem to be the issue.

I would't risk it. A 50 mile tow will probably set you back ~$250, which is cheaper and less of a hassle than renting a 2 or 4 up trailer...assuming you have a rig that can tow it a +4000 car.
