Since the Challenger batteries are in the trunk, should we be running a manual cutoff switch at the drag strip? If we do not, why? Any input is welcome.:dunno:

I thought batteries not mounted on the engine side of the firewall may need a cutoff switch. Just wondering.

Could be but never noticed any on the cars at CF2 and most of them race.

The NHRA rulebook says a cut off switch is needed if it is "moved from the stock location".

I'm at Barksdale 95% of my work day. I take care of the radio system out there.

That is awesome. I was there twice for air shows when I was in the Air Force. Great place to live.
