It looks on that blue do what Hal H did in that pic of that burgundy you don’t want to do just the hood.i would wrap it.if you get a knick in the wrap you hit it with a heat gun it smoothes out the knick like it never happened and if you had it painted keeping up with the matte black paint is a pain.just google maintenance on matte paint

Here’s my satin black hood

Mine is going in this Saturday to have the hood wrapped. I told the installer I wanted a matte black hood and he talked me into the satin black. He said it’s easier to take care of and it looks better? I have to agree it looks great on your car.

I guess every owner with MoPar OEM satin black accented cars are “girly men” as that’s exactly what Ma MoPar calls it.....satin black....whether it’s painted or wrapped.

That looks really cool! Was that a decal, or something you custom made? Would appreciate a few more pics if you don't mind.

The origin is for racing they flat blacked the hood to reduce glare.

So like many things that may or may not be necessary for a street car, it gives it the racy look.

So as many have stated to each his own.

The OP was obviously on the fence just looking for input.

I went kinda middle ground with satin carbon fiber.
