wow, my torque converter broke after just 27k miles. kind of hard to believe seeing as how stout these cars where made. anyone else had this problem?

Nope, mine won't get the chance as I just ordered a new one to get rid of that sorry excuse for a TC they throw in there from the factory. Good luck.

Call Edge converters, ask for Andre. He will build what you need. 20,000 miles of beating on mine. No problems.

Try 4,800 miles

Just got word that my torque converter went out at 4,900 miles. I jinxed myself because I've been bragging to everyone how much I lover my Challenger (even if it is a V6 automatic). The check engine light came on and my gas mileage began to fall so I knew something was up. The shifting felt odd to me from day one but I just thought it was the way the Challenger's shifted.
