It looks like a good system, a bit pricey, but every YouTube video I've seen of it sounds Honda to me.

just from what i've heard on youtube... live i've heard stock, and flowmaster. the flowmaster will give a deaper sound but nothing will make the 6 rumble like an 8. i get drone on at 70mph and 2k rpm. it's not bad but with the windows shut it can get irritating. check out the vids on youtube. just search for challenger se...

I would love to have more suggestions on what kind of exhaust to install in my 2010 challenger SE
quite a few variables that you gotta decide for yourself.

1. true duals or just dual look
2. keep and cut stock valance or buy and replace with an R/T
3. wake the neighbors loud or low and mellow
4. do the work yourself or have someone else install

just to name a few

gonna take some research. I spent along time going back and forth on what I wanted to do.
finally ended up deciding on single exhaust look as dual look was not a big issue for me
I found a muffler with a sound I liked and swapped it for the stock then had the resonator removed and put on an after market tip. whole thing ran me about $100 and sounds great.

I actually just baught and installed the Borla true dual catback system on my 2010 SXT. I was looking between Flowmaster, magnaflow and borla and in all honesty i liked the borla set-up the best even though its the most expensive between the three. Sound-wise it doesnt sound like an import it actually has a nice deep tone and rumble to it during idle. When you hit the throttle the exhaust is anything but subtle lots of low end growl and between 2000-2500rpm lots of drone ( but doesnt bother me i actually like hearing it!). If you want a quiet cat-back exhaust i wouldnt recommend borla. Its not Honda civic type noise(almost every forum i see gives borla this reputation) but it definitly gives the 3.5 a ballsy sound.

I have a Borla Exhaust on my RT. Borla is the Mfg. for the Mopar exhaust that you can buy from your dealer. Whomever said it sounds ricey is wrong. I have a couple of friends who have SRT Challengers who have "other" exhaust systems that I see alot of people touting on this forum. I will not publicly mention names. Anyway both of these friends who have other exhaust system have both confided in me that my Borla Catback sounds way better than their aftermarket exhaust systems. I've never made a video of my exhaust. I know that I really like the way it sounds and I've had several comments about how my R/T sounds like a badass American muscle car. I'm very satified with both the sound and performance. I do get a bit of drone in the cabin but nothing that overwhelms you. Plus I personally think the tips on the older Borla system is one of the better looking ones available.

Thats my 2 cents.....:bigthumb:

BTW Google Borla exhaust to see some youtube videos

Like i said, i was looking between flowmaster, magnaflow and borla. I've had the borla on for about 4 days now all i can say is i absolutely love the sound and couldnt be happier.Everyone at my work ( i work in a body shop) is amazed on how good it sounds. It really makes the 3.5 v6 sound bad ass. Is it worth the high price tag? Damn right it is!

Interesting how a V6 turned into a V8 and went from sounding "Honda" to sounding "ricey".
