Not sure if any of u guys r into it but I have been doin it since I was a kid in jrs. I have a dragster I race in top but just got a 14 challenger rt and was wondering if they r consistent street cars. Was gonna run mine in foot brake a little. I have heard to wire the fan so it will come on when the switch is on and stay on so it will run cooler and the computer won't be messing with the timing. Need input. Thanks guys in advance!!!

The Challengers I've seen at the track the past 2 years are not very consistent.
They are all over the place..
I race @ Englishtown NJ..

I have a 6 speed and I am not at all consistent (could be mostly me). I have seen others in automatics that are clock work on their passes'.

I ran my Challenger auto back to back four times and it was very consistant, running between 8.51 and and 8,55 in the 1/8th. All in a 20 minute period so assume DA was pretty much the same. Then as usual some jerkoff oildowned the track and had to wait an hour for my next pass and they didn't reprep the track as it was getting late. my last pass was like an 8.8 and I got wheel hop for my very 1st time.Remember I live in Texas where you can experience 3 of 4 seasons in a single day.

I have 11 trophies for bracket racing my ’12 A5 392 in the 1/4 and few in the 1/8th. Good 17" DRs and a tune and these cars are very consistent. Get her to hook and turn off all the tq mgmnt nannies and it is all up to you on the line.

I run these. Cheap, light and strong. I am currently running a 275 width but will be going to a 305 soon. That is about the max on a 9" rim. You have to grind out the centers a tad.

10.5 may be too wide (may hit some suspension stuff).

hone the center out to 73.5mm and you should be good to go. I also use open ended lug nuts but your stockers may work. I got the lug nuts from Discount tire for $2 each. Be sure to tell them not to exceed 30 PSI or so when the seat the bead so they don't deform the tire. M&Hs really stick...
