New to HIDs please forgive my ignorance. Are there different brightness levels? I don't mean heat aka color. I'm looking at the 5000k range. Is there a difference between manufactures as to how bright they are ? And if so what has been your personal experiences?

Heard a lot about Morimoto. I'm assuming they would be the brightest but wanted the input of others that have the experience.

Finally found the brightest LEDs and then I get a car with HIDs.

Thanks in advance.

They do go higher than 5K but then the color changes as well. 5k is the brightest white i believe then they start getting into blues.

I found this for buying replacement bulbs. Looks like they start at 4300K....but thats by doing a quick research.

They ARE proud of those things aren't they?!?!

I did find another video on Headlight Revolution where they compared a a cheap ebay HID, a Morimoto, a Phillips and an OSRAM. Said Phillips & OSRAM were the brightest, Morimoto was clone behind and well you pay $40 for an ebay HID you get a $40 ebay HID
