It’s not snapping back on because there was little piece that broke. That's just a cover and attaches to the piece in the PCM still. It should snap right back on
I get you there are tabs at the end but one of the tabs are broken that’s why it’s not snapping back onthat (locking) cover should snap back on - you'll note there's tabs on the ends that engage on the connector body
you lift the gray lock lever and it will release the connector from the PCM - tight fit in the plenum and even worse if you have big hands...I know from personal experience
Nuke's hands, for example will never fit
It worked brother, thank you so much!I’ve dealt with this same thing. You need to push the separated piece back down into the connector with the release lever down as shown in your photo. Then spray a little silicone lube around where the connector plugs on to the pcm. Let it soak a few minutes then use a large flat blade screwdriver to GENTLY pry around the base of the connector while pulling on the release lever.
You should be able to fix that with some RTV. Hold it together with zip ties until the RTV sets.So I was installing my diablo sport tuner and in order to do that you need take the oem pcm from your car. When I tried taking it out I broke one of the connectors, I don’t know what do to at this point. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Does the lever on top actually lock the connector on the PCM? If as Nuke says the cover just needs to be held down, a dab of silicone where the broken tab is may suffice

The repair kit is a labor intensive job, just getting the pins in the right place can really eat up some time. Then add in properly joining the wires (crimping and soldering), and you have a job that most techs don't want to get involved in. I have done it and now find that it is better to just make only the necessary repairs, whether it is a pin pushed out or a connector lock that doesn't seat properly. The reason I say that is because it turns into a nightmare if a pin is in the wrong position. The tab is broken off the connector case as OP says
