I power braked my car for the first time since I changed my differential fluid today and when I dump the clutch it wants to kick sideways bad now. It almost does a 90 degree turn it never did this before. Is it possible that I could need to add some friction modifier?

i dont think you want to do that nd heres why.

Friction modifier is added to prevent chatter when you go around turn. Straight line performance you want both axles locked together to drive both tires but when you turn, you want one to slip because its following a different arc. if it didnt slip on turns, it would bind and the tire would skip.

So adding the modifier makes the fluid a bit slipperier so you get that slippage.

What you are seeing is two tires locked together the way they should be and youre just pivoting around the fronts. thats the way it would go. maybe youre on a slight incline or domed road.

dont add it unless you have chatter
