Well that was fun. Before and after
Oh man, you are going to LOVE the sound it makes at WOT now!! :burnout:

Well, as long as you enjoy great-sounding automotive howls coming out of engines and such, then you will enjoy WOT now. :grin2:

(Conversely, if you do not enjoy such audio wavelengths, oh man, you are going to hate how it sounds now at full throttle!)

hey, it looks great, but have a question...
I have being reading about the COOL Air Intake and the main idea is to bring cooler air the the engine, because cool air is more dense and has more oxygen. Great!!!!
I happen to be an A/C technician that pay attention to the all new stuff coming to my field, and lately all coils has being changed from cooper to aluminium to maximize the heat interchange.

So....

All that big area of aluminium tubing next to the engine will get hot enough to heat the air coming in?

I'm not criticizing your CAI or the looks, I'm about to do it in mine too.
I'm trying to find out if my though are correct, because I'm even thinking in get it A/C cooled and insulated.

Generally speaking, the tube will heat soak quickly at idle or low intake velocity. Once you are moving again, the intake air temperature would drop rather quickly. A Guy
