I recently visited my college friend in San Jose and was able to hear his active exaust on his 2017 t/a 5.7 rt car. Man what a difference between his active exaust and the one that came with my 2015 RT A8.

Now I already have the mid-muffler delete on my exaust and it added a louder bark. But after hearing my car next to his there's really no comparison. Was now thinking of buying a catback and based on tons of research was thinking of going Solo! Based on what I see it acts in the same manner quiet during crusing, rumble during idle and loud when in WOT.
Thoughts? Videos? Experiences?

I love the SOL) system on my R/T. Get the system with the JPipes to eliminate drone. Its quiet enough at cruise to have a conversation in the car, loud enough at WOT to make you smile

Below is my car on a dyno with the SOLO installed

Just dropping a video for those looking into going Solo! Really nice review of the system in all its aspects. Startup, revying it, driving, take offs, etc.

Hope it helps those like me looking for more videos!:)

I have Solo on my 392 auto, definitely get the J-Pipes, hardly any drone. Very happy with it, though after a few hundred miles it starts to mellow out a bit, I also got used to the louder exhaust and want more. Nice rumble on startup, good sound cruising, and screams at WOT. I'm thinking about getting the high flow cats to go with it.

Install was pretty easy. One of my connector pipes was a little bent, nothing a BFH and impact drill couldn't take care of. Did it all by myself in my garage in a few hours, could have been quicker but wanted to take my time and also had a couple beer breaks.

Thanks your input! Im definitely leaning towards going Solo! The sound, the customer service, quality, and price has convinced me. All I hear regarding Solo is nothing but great reviews.

Will also take beer breaks during installation lol!

I had my Solo system installed at 3500 miles and im pushing 60k now on my 2016 5.7.

Like everyone has mentioned its not super loud at idle but it definitely has a nice rumble if you walk back there.

Cruising under 3k rpms people can definitely hear whats going on, but i rarely get any drone in the cabin. 40mph in 4th gear and shes quiet. I often use my cruise control in 6th going like 75 and you can hear it, but its not a bad drone at all. Pretty sure my tires make more noise.

Its a good system, quality made, and well designed.
However, we always want more haha so im installing some 6.4 headers and some used Solo high flow cats i came across :)

...and im lookin for decibels

Thanks for the input trippytro! Do you have any videos? Also have you thought about measuring your decibel levels? I would love to compare your findings to my stock exaust system with the mid muffler delete to see what the difference in sound volume is. So at iddle the decibel level is...reving at 3k devibel level is...at WOT decibel level is...

Thanks for your thoughts! Did you re-use your tips? I was also thinking of putting on some dual exaust tips.

Took this video pretty soon after i got it installed. It sounds quite fluttery because the phones right under the exhaust. Stock tips are reusable but ive changed them since.

Ill try to upload a better video later

Went too a local muffler shop and bought something cheap off the shelf quad round 3.5”. Currently looking for new ones though
