I have a 2013 challenger R/T classic. I installed BBK shorties, using the mopar metal gaskets with the heat shields. The passenger side developed a crack after two years or less. I couldn’t remember if I had installed BBKs or JBAs. I spoke to both companies. JBA was awesome to deal with!!! BBK would not replace the header. As it turned out, I had installed BBKs. BBk only offered me a 25% discount on a full set, as they would not sell me just the passenger side. Soooo, going to replace the BBKs with JBAs. Can I reuse the OEM gaskets with the heat shields? Can I reuse the SRT8 header bolts that came with the blue locktight on them? Any input is appreciated.

I'd recommend using a new exhaust gasket - once used, its been compressed and has gone through heat cycles.

with as much work as it is the r & r these and access the bolts, why have to re-do it?

get a bottle of blue locktite and re-apply on the bolts when installing them
