I keep my keys in my pants pocket all the time. There has been at least 5 times in the past 2 years where I'm working in the garage, or the driveway, or the yard; and my car started.

While I'm "laying on cardboard, on concrete," I just seem to get into positions that press the remote start button twice.

I know the dealership can program things like turning on the parking lights. So, I wonder if they can program the remote start to require 3 or 4 pushes of the button, instead of two.

I have done this too. Exactly why I no longer carry the key in my pocket anymore while working on it! Funny thing is, when you want it to auto start, sometimes it's a ***** to get it right. lol
