When is production slated to start?

SUPPOSE to be Aug 10 but with latest USA ordering delays who knows

Given all that happened recently, you shouldn't get too excited that you have a VON. Until you reach D1 status, be realistic. They have so many orders in Canada already that it may take a long time before you get it, if it even happens.

Not trying to burst any bubbles but I would rather be realistic than start breaking things when I learn that my order got cancelled.

With a VON you are obviously light years ahead of everybody

What's happening right now with the Hellcat is exactly what happened to me back in 2012 when I ordered my GC SRT8.

Canadian ordering was opened up almost 2 weeks before the US.

Once the jeeps started to get built the US orders started to get filled weeks/months before any Canadian orders were even moved to D1 status.

I am expecting that we will not see any Hellcats in Canada until January at the absolute earliest.

For some strange reason the build process for Chrysler has absolutely no set plan as to how or which orders get built and when. First orders are not necessarily built first.

I ordered my Jeep on May 30th, 2011. I did not get it until March 20th, 2012. I realize it all depends on where you live and the size/volume of your dealer. Also, this was the first of the new design making it much more harder to get at that time. Now, the 2014 GC SRT can be had almost anywhere here in Western Canada. I went into my dealership on April 28th with what I wanted for a new jeep. It was sourced and I was driving it by May 5th.

I am hoping this will be the case for the Hellcat as well in a year or two.

Funny you say that my sales manager (who is actually half decent) quoted the exact same situation and he fears the same will happen
