My car is built and waiting to be loaded on a railcar, but it is sitting at ramp compare inventory status. What are they waiting on? They have been pushing the eta delivery date back by one day for a week now. I'm just wondering at this point what is the hold up? Put it on the train and get it here already lol. Sorry just had to vent alittle.:scratchhead:

Hang in there. It sounds like cars are moving based on other threads. It's just that every minute feels like a day when you're this close.
Good Luck.

The dealer told me don't get upset when you see things like this happen and truthfully I'm ok with it. Just can't wait for it to get here and bring it home. Here is what my sheet says:

Dealer sales reps told me there were parts that were on back order in regards to those who had their vehicles delayed at the VASC Windsor Pillete Road parking lot. The IE 392's tend to camp out a bit longer at VASC due to wait involved with recieving limited production parts. For my mom and I... we can wait as long as it takes... It is a bit tedious, but I feel the wait will be worth every minute.

Was supposed to be shuttled to Ohio on the 15th, then the 16th, then today (17th) but ounce again that vanished from insight and the dealer delivery day just keeps getting pushed... AAAHHHHHH, its driving me nuts.LOL

Yeah, I can't wait to have the 392 we ordered brought home. Sometimes it is a bit difficult for my mom and I not to be discouraged in regards waiting and following through on this order.

I really feel for the GWE guys... some placed thier order beginning of January this year and still haven't reached D1 status.

For me it is a dirty house that could be the final nail in the coffin before order could be potentially cancelled. Simple cause and effect. If house continues to stay is dirty over the next month... then 392 Challenger order gets cancelled.

I just need to keep the house cleaner so stress can be kept to a minimum during the wait. My mom works long hours to help cover the cost of the down payment while paying principle and interest for the 2007 Charger SE I drive everyday. I hope to pay my mom back for the Charger sometime in 2012. Total cost from lot: about 15K with 45,000 miles on odometer. It was a former rent-a-car.

However, I have been doing a good deal of weeding outside since the ground is soft right now in California and this is prime time do be pulling weeds.

It think the more Dodge stalls, the more likely orders are going to start to get cancelled. I'm sure that a good amount of people out there used a credit line in order to come up with the 5K needed to place an order. The problem is that those who used a credit line gets to pay interest on an order that is going at a snail's pace. This why I can only imagine the frusteration with those placing GWE orders.

I will keep everyone updated on whether the order will be cancelled or not. If I keep the house clean; then I would say there is about an 80% chance the order will not be cancelled.

Sometimes I think stalling is a double edged sword. On one hand... You allow time for getting things done right the FIRST time.... but on the other hand.... Waiting can make people crazy and it is a great way to pi** off a costumer with perfectly good money.

Good luck on the wait!
