My Iphone was paired with my car at the dealership when I picked up the car. Yesterday I did the radio reset, because my Sound Group II stereo sounded like crap. Stereo sounds better, but now I can't pair the phone. I also got a en error message telling me there is a phone problem and the computer needs to be flashed by the dealer. There was a similar glitch on my 2013 Ram. I kind of hate bluetooth anyway, but was hoping it would be better in a 2015. Any suggestions on a self fix?

Make sure you have good reception (like outside). Go into the set up and put in your Uconnect password (again). I think the function is "change password," but you're really re-entering the original password. It's not obvious that the reset wiped it out.

Once that is in, and after a delay (can't remember how long), the pairing should be good once again.

Good luck!

Ok I don't recall entering a Uconnect password. I have not set up the U connect account yet. The dealer paired the phone without doing all of that, so I'm a little confused. Where would I find the original password is there some default maybe?

I didn't realize that paring the phone was different than Uconnect. Maybe the dealer used the 0000 when he set it up. :dunno:

Another option is to Reset Network Connections on the iPhone. This clears out any pairings (and stored Wifi) and usually corrects these issues. You will not lose any pictures, video, or other content, just network settings.

This is what I did and it worked. Tried it before reading this, but I appreciate the input. I kept thinking it was something with the Uconnect and it ended up being the phone. I appreciate everyone's advice because I am definitely not a tech guy.
