I have a Maggie and at present time I am using the supplied oil separator. What I am wondering is, can I use the catch can instead of the oil separator? The connections seem to be the same for each. ie. from PVC to separator/catch can then to just behind the throttle body. I am assuming that with the separator the oil mist is getting into the SC and with the catch can, it would fill up and need to be emptied. Wouldn't the catch can be a better solution?

Thanks.....

The seperator drains the oil back into the oil fill tube into the block. The catch can would allow you to drain that blow back out wherever you like. Either should be fine. The Magnuson doesn't put the oil back in the air inlet though from what I could tell from the unit I have.

Good luck.
