Is the new Challengers considered LX body style? Also what is the Charger, 300, and Magnum considered?

The Charger, 300, and Magnum are LX's - hence the LX forums. ;)

I was told long ago that we are an LY? I think... but basically an upgraded LX platform.

lxforums.com originally dodgemagnum.net

FYI...
"lxforums.com" was originally called "dodgemagnum.net"

See here:
Dodge Magnum Net

The Magnum and 300 were the original LX cars (sold in 2004 as 2005 models - out a model year ahead of the Charger).

I guess no one thought that a forum on luxury Chryslers would attract enthusiasts, hence the Magnum focus and dodgemagnum.net name. When the Charger hit, the name was changed to lxforums.com and incorporated all LX vehicles.

lxforums was expanded to include baby brother LC platform Challenger when it came out.

And even more recently it was expanded to include cousin WK (and WK2) platform Jeep Grand Cherokee.

I joined the Dodge Magnum Forum when i bought my RT in 11/11/04. I was kinda disappointed when it changed to LX Forums. Now I have a Challenger, so I don't care.
