On my old '10 R/TC I ran Goodyear Eagle RSA, Nitto Motivo, Continental Conti Contact in 245 over 163k miles. My last set was General G-Max AS05 in 255/45-20 on 9" retro rally wheels. The had much better traction and handling Compared to all the others.

If you are going to change, go to 275/40/20. IMO

While a 255/45R20 will fit with no issues, be aware that this is a VERY uncommon tire size. A manager at a local tire place (biggest chain in the area) had ONE in stock (a Michelin, for a breathtaking $450), had no isea why he had it, and noted he had NEVER actually seen a car that called for that size.

A 245/45 or 275/40 is MUCH more common.
Yes, so uncommon that Tire Rack has over 50 different tires in 255/45R20

Do you guys realize this thread is 3 years old? Lmao. Anyways I have the same wheels the op has and went from 245 to 255 and the 255s are just as common and typically a couple bucks cheaper. They don't perform much different but do noticeably make it look a little better but it's not enough. I prefer the 275-295 range personally. 315 looks a little goofy sometimes unless it's a widebody

I just put some Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ on our 2011 RT Classic. Went with the 255's vs the 245's as they were $50 cheaper per tire at Discount tire.
Do your 255 Michelin pilot sport rub at all In the front of your RT??
