Apparently, changing the size of the pinion gear alters the steering ratio-that's the general response to the non-specific question to the internet. More focussed research yielded (this was for '05 Chargers) changing to an SRT8 rack, pump and steering column to get a "sportier" steering ratio. Any gear heads want to way in on this? They changed from a 16.1 to 1 in 2010 to a 14.4 to 1 in 2011 and on(at least I believe it came in, in 2011). Add this to a larger steering wheel from '08-'10 and negotiating those roundabouts gets irritating(especially when the rest of the car is dialled in to my liking). Any help ould be appreciated.
