My R/T's clutch is slipping under hard launches, quick acceleration (i.e. left turns) etc.

I got it stuck in grass not too long ago after some heavy rain. Unfortunately, me being the broke college student that I am, I didn't have the money for a tow truck and decided to throw some wood under the tires and attempt to drive it out. It took a while to get it out, with a lot of people pushing and the right gas/clutch combo it eventually caught the wood and drove off. It drove fine after so I was relieved that the clutch didn't take too much damage.... I spoke to soon.:headbang:

What are the aftermarket clutch options for our cars ?
Anyone have any experience with them, or recommendations ?

SPEC makes an excellent clutch. However, since you are a financially challenged college student, you would probably be better off with a RAM clutch.

I was able to purchase my SPEC clutch for $1,300 shipped. Make sure that you are comparing apples to apples. These clutches come in various trim levels. If your choice is between a SPEC and a RAM clutch at the same price, go for the SPEC.

Would a fairly new clutch and flywheel (250 miles) from an SRT8 fit on a RT?

Yes. The clutch and transmission are the same parts for the R/T and SRT.
