Coming May 1st Forged Stock 6.1L Pistons!
Why get a set?

1. No balance required

2. Stock bore replacements

3 Use stock factory rings

4. Use stock rods

5. Forged 4032 material piston and new high strength pins

6. Coated ring lands

7. Coated skirts

8. Stop ring moved down for added strength

9. Additional cross section added to ring land between first and second
compression ring for added strength

10. Increase volume of accumulator groove between first and second ring for added strength ( reduce pressure spikes that cause land failures)

11. Addition of valve reliefs to accommodate larger cam profiles .080int and .050exh

ETA 5-01-11

This has been asked a few times so here is the answer directly from MAHLE

"Clearance is 0.004" bare aluminum to cylinder and 0.003" over the coating

Ok guys we have sold out of the original batch.

Good news is we added a few more sets to the order just in time. We have also added an option on our store to add new rings and rod bolts to your order for your convenience if you have any questions please let me know.

Ok folks we got these in on Friday they are going through inspection before we ship them out.
