A friend of mine told me that corsa exhaust systems and mopar are the same aside from the name on the pipes. 1) is this true 2) are the xtremes available in the mopar brand 3) dose anyone know if dodge will sell/install corsa or only mopar parts so I can keep the warranty intact with it being a certified part.

Sorry for the noob questions this is my first real car and I am new to the upgrades game. My car is a 2014 Blacktop edition R/t 6 speed. Thanks for any help/advice in advance.

I am looking for a deep aggressive sound btw.

True...the Mopar Challenger Exhaust is a Corsa Sport with Mopar labeled on the tips. There is no Mopar Exhaust with the Corsa Extreme. I doubt a dealer would install a Corsa Exhaust. But there are plenty of reputable shops around who would. Put out a thread for shops in your area. I'm sure plenty of people on the forum would have recommendations.

SUBJECT - MOPAR 6.4L Automatic Transmission Cat-Back Exhaust System on a Manual car???

Hello Guys!

I am getting this really amazing deal on a MOPAR Cat back exhaust system which is for the Automatic transmission P5155956. My car is a 6 speed Manual and i really don't want to pass this offer. From my knowledge the Automatic car comes with Multi-Displacement System (MDS) for which the exhaust system will be tweaked for to avoid drone while running on 4cyl. I'm really not sure about it so I'm here to ask if there is any difference in both of them? And, will this be okay with my car?

Thanks

I think the only differences on the auto vs. maunal for the extreme are some bends in the pipes to get around the differential. I don't think there is a difference inside bottle mufflers or rear resonater-style mufflers between the two.

So won't that be an issue to install if it doesn't get around the differential or anything?

Yeah it would have to be modified. You'll have to decide whether or not it is worth the hassle. You would think a good exhaust shop should be able to make it work.

I thought Mopar used the Borla exhaust.

I think the 5.7 Mopar exhaust is either Borla or Magnaflow.
When I was deciding my exhaust I read that somewhere probably here in the forum about Mopar using the Borla exhaust.

Yes,the Borla systems that are sold at dealerships are manufactured by CORSA.However the CORSA Xtreme is a no-drone system whereas the Borla system is not.
