Headed back to my home state in a week or so after being in MI for a few months so I unfortunately had to figure out a solution to the pesky Nj front plate laws. Me and a buddy fabbed up this bracket out of aluminum because I'd rather make my own (especially if its free) than pay the price to get a pre built one, especially when the design is extremely simple.

Then just to test, I had a professional driver on a closed course take it up to 150mph, and no bending or loss of the plate so Im pretty content.

Looks good, glad you were able to find that closed course for testing lol.

Nice work PandaShaker! I had the same problem...MO also requires a front plate. I looked at the factory plastic mount and said "no way am I drilling holes in my new car for this" :)

So I fabbed-up a simple frame using some extra metal rod. It mounts to existing metal brackets inside the lower grill.
It may need slight adjustment but it seems to work well and I'm happy with it.

Like many others have done, I just used the standard OEM plate holder, rotated it 180 degrees and mounted it on the lower grill with a couple of toggle bolts.
Guaranteed for speeds up to 174 MPH or twice your money back.
