I have the RBZ Radio. Which is the Touch Screen with the 30 gig Hard Drive WITHOUT Sirius Radio. I wanted Satellite, so instead of replacing the entire stereo I opted to add the Satellite receiver.

I decided to place the receiver in the overhead Sunglasses Compartment.

I also put in an 8" Boston Acoustics Sub and two new 6 1/2" Boston speakers in the rear shelf powered by an M500 Alpine Amp.

It turned out really nice. Check it out.

"He wears his sunglasses at night"... so he can, so he can...

OK... bad joke. nice mod though. Great idea for those who don't have Sat and want it.

Does that totally replace your factory setup, or integrate with it?

The stock stereo works the same, the receiver connects to the stereo much like an amp does and uses a preset on the radio for the signal to come through.

To listen to Sirius, I press Preset 1 and use the receiver in the overhead compartment and the signal comes through clear as a CD.

You replaced your rear speakers but not your front?

I have the Sound Group I, so all I wanted to add was an 8" sub for a little more bass, not a hugh system that would make the pavement crack.

I decided last minute, while I had the car open to add the other speakers, so why not?
