dealership stole 100hp

I took my 2011 srt in to the dealership a couple weeks back to get a few little things taken care of before my warranty expired and when it was in they offered to do a computer update which was covered under warranty . I figured I might as well have it done as I understood it was a few hundred to do it after warranty.

Mu issue started when I got on her a bit the other day. before the dealer "updated" my computer my car pulled really strong and in fact when nailing it in 1st gear would spin the tires down the road like I was on a wet surface but yesterday I went out for a ride and when coming off a light on the highway I jumped on her and there was barely any tire spin and when I hit second the most I got was a little chirp instead of them breaking loose and almost felt like I was dragging an anchor. all this while traction control was OFF.
my question is could this update changes one of the things I loved most about this car namely the power and if so can the battery disconnect procedure take me back to where it was before and if not what are my option . thanks for your input

You can try pulling the number 2 fuse under the hood, it's for the adaptive leaning.

Isn't that fuse up front?
I agree the fuse trick is worth a try (and probably the throttle calibration trick, too), but bear in mind that engine output can greatly vary during the summer months, just from heatsoak effects. Engine output can vary within hours of a day, depending on what stage of heatsoak you are running at that particular moment. If you have been running the A/C, then you are almost certainly running moderate to heavy heatsoak.
Did you have a tune on it? Are you the orig. owner? Sounds like you lost a tune..

PERP I am not original owner on the car but when I bought it from original owner he never mentioned putting a tune in it . there were a set of Corsas installed but nothing else as far as I know . also he gave me everything that came with the car including the original exhaust system im pretty sure he would of mentioned it . Am I wrong or is the only way to add a tune to a 392 is with a Diablo tuner which if he used would serve no purpose after it installed in 1 car it's locked to that car so giving it to me with the car would cost him nothing? please let me know if im wrong on this.

If by some chance there was a tune on the car I have to get it back because compared to before the dealers update she fells like a slug.

If I only was thinking clearly when I wrote that, lol.

you could try to sending them an email with your vin.. but the only way you will get that again is by buying tuner from them

Ask the original owner if there was a tune in it. You can get better performance with a diablo trinity and an email tune. I have a 2012 challenger SRT-8 and I bought the trinity and got an email tune from Hemifever. The guys name is Sean. If you buy the tuner from them the email tune is free. That's a $125,00 value. The tuner cost the same or very close to the same no matter where you buy it. He took my car from 12.7 in the 1/4 mile to 12.2 and a hero run of 12.1. So it is well worth the money.

8vetts sorry for the late responce, i do not have a 392 but know they were late to market with it being able to accept a tune. Either way, just sounds like something I would look into. Yes if orig. owner had a tune on it then he likely had a hand held tho mine was a second hand with a tune and I never got the hand held unit. A shop could have added a tune independently I guess also..
