Question for you guys...

Looking to pick up some of the Demon replica wheels and run a Nitto 555r's on them. I was going to go with 275's up front and 305s in the rear, since its iffy if the 315's fit without rolling the fender. I cant find any in the 305/40/20 size.

Is there a big issue if I run 275/40/20s up front and 315/35/20s in the rear?

If your going to run a 275/40/20 up front, the 315/35/20 has almost the same exact tire height, so they are a good match as long as you can get the 315's width to fit on the rear.

The 305's are easier to fit the rear, but they are approx. 1/4" shorter tire.

I run the 275/40/20 front and 305/35/20 555R's rear on my Demon replica wheels on my Challenger:

What year is your challenger? I have a stock height Scat Pack and only needed a 3mm spacer on each side to fit my wheels, which are also demon replicas, I run 315s in the rear.

Hey Booky, Those wheels really look good on your Kitty! That may have just put me over the top to get a set. Just got some 275 and 315's so may wait and mount them on those wheels! Luckily the Atturos in 315 do not rub due to the narrower 12.2" section width vs 12.6" on some other 315's and I actually got almost 9000 miles on the old set with 5/32 tread left.

I would say its better to go with this setup, it will look more level with the front. The meatier tires will throw off your speedometer and be harder to fit.
you can 100% fit 315/35s on the rear without any fender rolling if you get the right offset.

Thats the hard part. I can not grasp the math of what onsets will and will not work on mine.

Thanks. I saw the top video already. Giving the bottom a watch now, however, everyone is putting these on newer challengers, not the old style. Im worried about fitment with the 315's.

I have a 2014, so I have the fenders that do NOT come pre-rolled from the factory. They started that in 2015.

There is a lot of wheel offset calculators online definitely check them out and you'll get a better sense. like willtheyfit.com

I have a 2014 just like you, remember when your car is on the lift and you're putting on the bigger wheel/tires its going to rub until you drop the car and preload the suspension. So dont freak out.

With your 3mm spacers, that gives the rear wheels a 19mm offset since the 20x10.5 Factory Reproduction replica wheels have a 22mm offset.

What brand 315 tire are you running and does it poke out past the fender?

My Challenger is a 2016.

Atturos, since they’re a bargain tire with decent performance. From what I’ve read they’re approximately .4 inches narrower than more popular brands, I believe this may be due to stiffer sidewalls.

I’ll be picking up the Demon Replicas from Factory Reproductions within the next two months. 9.5 front 10.5 rear. I have a 2016 Scat. Plan on doing 275/40 front and 315/35 rear on Continental DWS06’s.

So is the general consensus that with a 2015+, we won’t have any issues with fitment on 315’s? I don’t want to have to modify my wheelwells at all. I also don’t want to run spacers. Or should I go on the safe side with 295/40’s (they don’t offer a 305 with the DWS06’s)?

I just had a set of satin 9.5" delivered yesterday, I am planning on running 275s all the way around.
As soon as my new set of sensors get here I will be ordering tires assuming I can decide on what brand I want.

I've yet to hear of one person with a 15+ that has had issues with 315s on the rear.

Only us 08-14's that might have to keep skinny with 305's. :(

Just a heads up, if anyone has the 6 piston brembo's, keep in mind you have to run at least a 3mm spacer to keep the 20x9.5's from rubbing the caliper.

Factory Reproduction was going to try and get this design flaw fixed, but I do not know if they have done it yet.
