I'm a pretty outdoorsy guy and I like to be able to bring my mountain bike with my places and travel to go backpacking and camping. Of course Subaru's are a natural fit for this lifestyle, but I'm a big fan of American muscle and I'm wondering if they're robust enough to handle outdoors gear, racks, and maybe the occasional dirt road a la Duke boys.

What do you guys think? Can the Challenger handle it?

Personally, I would never take my baby on a dirt road, rain, snow. That's why my other vehicle is a Ford Expedition. You can find good used SUV's out there for a pretty good bargain and use it for all your outdoor adventures. Keep the Challenger where it belongs, on the street. Just my .02 cents.
