I see people all over the internet bashing the Challenger for being too big. I couldn't disagree more, but maybe I'm in the minority. If it was smaller I wouldn't own it.

I love the fact that it has some size to it. Mustangs and Camaros seem tiny.

Its a big fat pig...no way to hide that. It is at least 400 pounds too fat.

I wish it was shorter in height but not smaller in length.

The size is awesome.

But, yeah, it would be great if it weighed about 500 lbs. less than it does.

No, I like the fact that it's actually "adult sized".

It's going to be hard enough adjusting to a 2-door after driving a Charger for the last (almost) 9 years.

smaller? NO!
lighter? YES!
^^^ What IDMT said.

All cars get bashed for some reason or another, so I wouldn't worry about it.

You are not in the minority. :)

If you're happy with your Challenger, who cares what other people really say?

I don't really think of the challenger as being too big. I did see one parked next to a miata once. now that was funny...

I don't think it's all that big. My only gripe is they apparently won't ever produce a 2-door coupe. If they would, I'd personally, "be all over it." My feelings are identical with regard to the 300C/SRT.

And my guess is if it were 400lbs lighter, it would be very arguable that Dodge ever would have bothered with a 485 hp 392. So what you would likely have is a car that isn't any faster than the car as is. It may arguably handle and stop better on a racecourse in the hands of a driver skilled enough to extract 10/10ths performance, but nothing very measurable on the street.

My mustang was almost 400lbs lighter and the difference in feel isn't that dramatic.

I don't buy the lazy narrative. The 392 challenger will do anything an SS or GT will.

interior room is great, it is a great trip car.

exterior height is a tad too much and the doors are too slab sided, wish they could have rolled them under a bit more.
