The Redeye was aptly named to suggest it had Demon blood.
This could be their attempt to show the RE as a youthful Demon. Why can't they just go as sinister and evil as possible?
I'm expecting this to be a Dunham puppet. It's a very lame image for the intended purpose.

What started as an April Fool’s joke in 2021 is coming to life.

Since it’s the last special edition and the car‘s swan song, I’d have preferred a Vanishing Point car, both because it’s a cool part of Challenger movie history and it’s literally representative of the car‘s extinction, its’ own literal vanishing point. Maybe there was something difficult about licensing or something. It being the Ghoul doesn’t surprise me though.

The Hellcat and Demon names have always sounded intimidating and mean. Hellcat, imo, is the best name of all time for a hi-po car. Ghoul doesn’t sound intimidating at all to me. More like something out of a Scooby Doo cartoon. But hey, they did the Roadrunner and despite the comic roots, we all know what an iconic badass that car turned out to be. I’m sure if it‘s 900 hp or more, nobody will care what the name is. It could be Caspar the Friendly Ghost Challenger and it’s still gonna be sought after forever lol.
