Were you driving when it came off, or were you idling or parked?
Is it AWD? Could be a driveshaft isolator?
Weight reduced hockey puck.Why, it's a holey donut...![]()
Rubber/steel? 1", 10" Any more specs?

I was driving it a bit aggressively the day prior and noticed a clunking noise sounding like from transmission or rear end but only for a second. it's a 6 speed. Then just pulling out of my street yesterday it clinked and that part rolled off on the right side

Yeah looks like the center piece to the damper. The 5.7s don't have this inside theirs.

The rubber insulator probably deteriorated (too soon for a 2015) or was defective from the get-go.

No sir it's not AWD. I initially thought drive shaft but the car is operational
