I was wondering the same thing when I saw this;

Did they run out of washer levers or do they just put these in the Dodge's as default?

It does absolutely nothing even when I tried to spray the water

Could be the stalk was replaced with one meant for a different model? The OEM one on my 2015 challenger does not look like the one in the pic ^^.
No it came that way new, 2019

Tell the dealership to look up the part number for your car and have them pull it from their inventor to see if it matches what is on the car now. If it does not then they should swap it out.
Is the normal switch any different other than not having a rear wiper option?
Am I missing out on something?

You know it could a miss print like on a stamp, it may be worth more money that way.
Hell I don't know I'm just having brain farts.

Well if you want to replace it later on your own dime it's like $280 for the module and you will need to remove the steering wheel but other than that should not cause any problems if left in. I would be more concerned of other things that the assembly plant installed incorrectly.

I would be thinking up something that I could use the extra "factory" switchgear to control!
The last "car" I had with a rear wiper was my 1986 Lancer ES Turbo.

Well I'm not too concerned, the car has been perfect.

I was fiddling with it for about 2-3 minutes trying to get the phantom rear wiper to work. Well that's a no-go.
I'm just curious if anybody else has this feature?

No I have not, you are the first. Was you car bought brand new by you?
No it had 2386 miles when I bought it.

Personally I think that the factory installed it, maybe they were running low on stocks.

Oh - earlier you said that it came that way new, suggesting that you bought the car new. If you bought the car used, then who knows what could have happened before you bought the car. Someone could have broke the lever and replaced it with the wrong one by accident or something along those lines.

I have a hard time believing that I came from the factory like that. It's not like some Challengers had rear wipers and some didn't and they grabbed the wrong lever, so I don't see how the factory would install that by accident.... Not saying that it's impossible, just very unlikely.

No vehicle built at Brampton has a rear wiper and there's no stock of wiper stalks sitting there, all parts come in just for your vehicle so the chance of this happening is just about zero.

Well there's your answer, original broke and dealer threw on whatever would work.

Yes I said it came that way because it wasn't indicated on the Carfax, I'm just thinking it more than likely came from the factory that way because who the hell would want to install a lever with the rear wiper?

You're just contradicting yourself, no I don't believe the dealer would just throw on anything that will work.
