Hello All,

Ordered a set of M/T drag radials for my 19 R/T Scat WB.

Haven't put them on yet but I don't think I will be able to stand to have the low tire pressure lite on the dash all the time.
It will absolutely drive me crazy.
Any ways around this?

Only way I know of is to install TPMS sensors onto your drag wheels....seems an unnecessary expense.

I put tpms sensors in all my drag tires because they all still get daily driven.

Keep them around 28psi on the street and then lower at the track. Light only pops on at the track.

Can’t stand the light and chime every time I start a car either.

I am putting them on the stock 20x11 Widebody wheels, so the sensors will be in there.

I was afraid 28psi would trigger the light. Good to know it will not.

TPMS can be disabled with a Tazer.

On my 19 HCWB, any pressure under 30 turns on the light. Maybe yours won't.

I also get an email in about ten minutes when I drop air pressure at the track.

And another thing, I have a tempermental valve stem on one wheel that doesn't like to take air sometimes and leaks at times.
The tire shop tells me this can only be corrected by replacing TPMS unit.

Have you tried a new core? Swap the core with another wheel and see if the leak moves with it, or goes away. If it stays on that wheel, you maybe still able to fix it without replacing it.

Hmm,
I think I will experiment today and start dropping the tire pressures until I get the light.

Then I will know.

Good advice! Local tire shop did it for free! Thanks!

Other local shop would only replace it...

On my '15 R/T 5.7, my TPMS triggers at 27psi.."inflate tires to 32psi" is what my dash will say..

The TPMS works on a 75% rule so with a recommended 32 psi they should alert below 25 psi.

Well I finished my test.

They are not all the same.
My front right will go to 26 psi before going off
My front left goes off at 30
The other two fall in between.

That figures,
