Okay peeps, I would like to see pics of your 20inch wheels up front and 18inch wheels on the rear before I decide to spend money on 17inch rear wheels for strip days. Who has a good looking set-up?

those fronts look bigger that 17's. Looks like you have a good set-up.

Less wheel more tire. 17's = better traction
Your car looks sick on those. This is exactly what I'm talkin about and exactly what I'm looking to do, agreed.

Here's what the car looked like when I had 275/50/17s (before lowering the car too).

And here's my current set up with 275/40/17s and 20" wheels up front.

That set up looks great! What wheels are those and what are the specs?
Wheels are from Race Star

Fronts are 17 x 4 1/2 Part number 92-745442 DSD
Rears are 17 x 9 1/2 Part number 92-795452 DSD

If you are looking for Polished drop the DSD and add DP

Both wheels are very light weight, Had them for two seasons and many passes and holding up like a champ.

I tried these 10.5x17's with MT ET Street 305/45R17s and I like them enough that I'm going to pull the DRs off and get a set of 9's for the front. Agreed that along with the lighter weight, more rubber = more flex in the sidewall and more traction.

Plus, our cars just look better with a thick butt.

I have these in the garage until the temps hit the 60's so I can go for a good timeslip. I had everything but traction when I went to tune.

Seeing all the pics you peeps posted with your 20's on the front ant 17's out back really doesn't look as bad as I though they would. What the heck, my goal here is traction not looks, lol.....
