I don't know if this is a Canadian thing but has anyone else wondered why the Driver Convenience Group for the RT and GT models does not include remote start system while the same for SXT does....and it cost less?? It makes no sense to me!

Because the standard equipment transmission on the R/T is the 6-speed manual on which remote start is not available, so they package the remote start with automatic on R/T.

SXT has the automatic standard so that makes sense to include it in DCG.

If DCG included it on R/T then that would imply that all R/T with DCG would have it and that would not be the case.

Now we have to find an explanation for the automatic GT...
