That behavior is programmed into the controlling module (BCM?), and it’s called DRL Dropout I believe. It defaults to Yes/True, but changing that parameter to No/False should induce the behavior you seek.
Changing the parameter’s value becomes the issue, and that’s going to require some sort of 3rd party interface device. I think the Tazer device could do such a thing, and I know my TranZformer Gen2 can, as I have that functionality enabled on my Charger.
However, those devices’ ability to modify such parameters is dependent upon the car’s year model and body model. You didn't mention a year model for your car, but if it’s 2018 or newer, the ZAutomotive products won’t work for this.
So if yours is indeed a 2018+ year model, you are SOL for this...for now. Keep checking their website for applicability to be added to their Tazer devices. Once it is, you would be good to go most likely.
