Looking around and decided to try the fender-well CAI off of eBay for $50. Figured it was worth a shot and if it does not produce, will stick with plan to use Stack Performance CAI.

Will post pics next week once it arrives of the install.

Do you have a link to it? Should be interesting for sure.

another member did a test of K&N, big bully, airaid (I think) and ebay CAI.
Name brands all performed very well and ebay gave decent hp gains for the performance.
a good investment for the budget minded modder

Doesn't look like a bad product. I'm curious to know how it performs. I have the MOPAR CAI that I got using some of my MOPAR bucks. It's not bad but I liked the K&N that I had on my stone white RT a lot better.

Do you by chance have a link for those results? Thanks!

here yah go...

3.5L Intake Evaluation (E-Bay, K&N, Big Bully, Air Hammer HO)

this was done on a 3.5L and it was an air hammer not airaid.
a decent eval with pre and post dyno runs on all that where tested.
hope that helps with your decision.
Interesting read thanks!

Looked like it performed well albeit a different motor and design than the one I chose to try.

I will not be doing a dyno comparison but will be making some runs at the track in the next week or so. :bigthumb:

The ebay version is a 3.5" tube. I'd imagine this will have very similar results to the Jeep Cherokee SRT8 BWoody 3.5" Cold air intake.

**Update**

Got it installed this evening after work. Fit was good. No major snags. The breather hose that came with the kit was a little large so I used my own 1/2" hose for it. The hardest part was taking the bottom fascia loose to insert the lower pipe from the fender-well. A few pics:

Heading to the track tomorrow evening to get some baseline runs in.
