Just because I don't wrench on my car doesn't mean I can't tie my shoes (love that velcro BTW)

My SXT dropped 1.5" all around on Pros... 31" to top of wheel well arch, to 29.5". No "settle" afterwards either

I was only measuring from the top of the tire to the top of the fender. Just checked mines and it's 29 ⅛ from the ground to the top of the fender for the front and 29 ¼ in the rear.
So what's your tire diameter or just your rim/tire setup? Mine is 20x9: 255/45/20 front; 20x10.5: 295/35/20 rear

I have 28 1/4" average all around. The passenger side is reading 28" rear and 28.25" front and the driver side is 28.5" rear and 28.25" front. I have 275/40/r20s. Rims are 20x9

Well you guys really helped me out on my next tire purchase.
Base on both your info this is what I got from your 20 x 9s.
Overall Diameter= 28.7
Overall Width= JA(10.8) AG(9.6)
Sidewall Height = 4.3

Mines is:
Overall Diameter= 28 front, 28.1 rear
Overall Width= 10 front, 11.6 rear
Sidewall Height = 4.1 front, 4.1 rear

So to fill in the gap and keep some width, I'm going get me:
Front: 275/40/20
Rear: 315/35/20 (hope they fit though. Width would go from 11.6 to 12.4:unsure:)

I know this was about lowering a car, but tire size is what fills those gaps too.

245/45, 275/40, and 315/35 are all the same height. 315s do rub inner fender a bit for some, but some massaging with a heat gun and rubber mallet usually fixes it. Many go with 305s in the back to be sure

If you put your sizes in this calculator, you can compare dimensions

Ugh...
I have both the heat gun and mallet.
I hate having to take chances with the tires rubbing. My wife was already giving me crap when I got rims and tires for our tahoe and they were rubbing. Gonna ask my tire guy if I can try them out and if they don't work I'll just see if I can get more tires for my tahoe:rolleyes:.
