i found a local gas station that sells non-ethanol high octane and plan on going there for my new 392

my question is...the sticker on the pump says 92 whether its ethanol or non-ethanol...so its got the same bang right? so why is Ethanol 15% less mileage?

at the track will the same car get better times w/o Ethanol?

if the Octane is the same, then the BANG should be the same...so why the Mileage difference?

Ethanol has less energy so it take more of it to make the same amount of power, that's why you get worse mileage. I might be wrong but I don't think you will see a loss in power just worse mileage.
