I did this over last weekend. The idea just kinda popped in my head. Let me know what you all think!!

Couple of others have done that - I think it looks better than the polished finish; much more subdued and less "Ram Truck" looking.
I agree. I'd like to swap to a 2011 front end to totally get rid of the nose badge.

how does it come off and did you sand the emblem or just paint over it and what type of paint did you use ?

There's two tabs under the horns on the ram's head and then it just pops off. Stick a pry tool under the chrome part and not the back background. (There 2 separate pieces) I sanded the emblem and used primer and flat black spray paint from wal-mart. The dollar a can stuff. Rustolem kept wrinkling on me
