hey guys have a 2010 srt8 i need two rear tires fronts are 245/45/20 do i need to get the 255 for the rear or can i get the 245/45/20?
i know they came with 255 when ordered New but i have 245/45 all around on it now,
if yes what was the exact size 255/45 for the rear? i believe this is correct because the 255/40 is only 28 diameter the 255/45 is slightly bigger and slightly wider
9.6 to 10. and 28.7 to 29.1

My 2009 SRT had the staggered F1 setup. You can run the same size all around if you prefer.

I would run the same size all the way around. That way you can rotate the tires. The difference between 245 and 255 is minimal.

Hell with rotation, looks way better with the 255s on the back but it's your car!

If you want to rotate your tires, you can use 245/45-20s for the front and rear of your SRT.

On my 2009 SRT, I have 245/45-20s on the front and 275/40-20s on the rear. I like the better traction with the 275s and also the old school staggered tire look.

255/45 can easily be run all the way around. I'd go up in the front before I I'd go down in the back.

A video I just watched by Hemi Mike explained why his staggered setup didn't work as well as he had hoped. It looked cool, but didn't really get the benefit from having wider tires.
