It seems to be an AFR shaker and fiberglass AFR hood.Feel free to look at my sig pic and drool while you figure this out![]()
When I start the project I will post what I come up with, Should not be to much to it, Some welding and fabEricG, I have already been doing that!
Thanks Luke. It might work to get a 14 hood, and new 392 Shaker scoop/mount, maybe? Or adapt the 5.7 scoop to the 392, like stonewall is doing.
stonewall please post pics!
Thanks,
Yes, no problemdoes the z bracket and catch can still fit under the scoop?
My 392 may be different than the 5.7great....thanks!!!!
Thats why I didn't go with a emblem on the shaker, went with a decal instead so that it wouldn't be as bold as the side emblems.Wow that looks great! Time to de-badge the fender IMO.
That would be a good question to have an answer for. I don't know if Mopar used one of the aftermarket shakers as a pattern or if it is there's alone. I know the the Mopar base is different.I wonder if an afr shaker scoop would work with the mopar shaker hood??
It is the factory shaker hood and CAI for the 5.7 shaker. I modified the base to work on the 392. And thanks for The comment! I think It turned out nice and factory looking which was my goal.EASILY the best looking Challenger I've seen to date. I absolutely LOVE that Yellow!
Where did you get the Shaker setup? It looks like the factory one that hasn't been released yet. There is another Shaker setup that looks totally different.
