I am looking to replace my factory receiver, which includes Sirius Sat radio, with an aftermarket unit. I will add the Sirius module to the aftermarket unit to retain the service. My question is this: Is there a way to connect the factory Sirius antenna to the aftermarket Sirius Module?

Thanks!

I haven't actually done it but probably the most you would need to do is change the connector and maybe not even that.

Thanks guys. I read on challenger****** that it will indeed connect. I am hoping that is the case. When I get all my audio equipment in and installed I'll post a thread with what I learn.

I actually did this today and YES the factory antenna will connect to the standard SC-C1 Sirius Tuner. However, you will have to break the factory housing on the connect end. I just used a pair of pliers and cracked it, then peeled the plastic away to expose the plug only. It plugged right in at that point and worked great.
