I was just wondering if anyone has an update on the status of their HC who got a VON when ordered? I ordered July 23 when my dealer call and said he was able to place an order. I called my dealer on Friday and he said no change in status still in B something status. Dealer has been family owned for over 55 years and has a Five Star Status (highest quality service rating awarded by Chrysler Canada), got an email from area rep and said they were going to build 3 HC per month for western Canada with first ones going to Vancouver and with the amount of orders for HC it might take 3 years to get one.I talked to the dealer in Ontario where I bought my Yellow Jacket and said they would get one HC but it would be about a month before they could option it, and he said they would build 50 HC for Ontario. If anyone would like to add to this, true or false, I would appreciate it.

I too ordered mine on the 23. There is no change in status for mine either. I also have a buddy that actually works at the assembly plant and he said it is going to be awhile. I don't expect to see the car until October or November.

I would check back at the end of August with your deal and have them run the VON. You should see a status change by then.

Good luck,

Todd

First Hellcats will be a while to hit the dealers yet. In my experience dealers have no idea about future production numbers. '15s maybe limited but by '16 they'll be building as many as they can sell.

Hi Noob here, I have a signed purchase agreement with a dealer in Ontario but was told there are 6 orders ahead of mine. Placed my order on July 31st and was told I would know IF I can get one Tuesday or Wednesday next wk. as in tomorrow !!!!!!
I was able to spec out the options and colour I wanted no problem, not sure what's going on with dealers in the US??
Also I have a signed purchase agreement for MSRP.
Trading my 2013 ram sport 4X4 QQ as a deposit, and selling my current baby a 69 Charger SE to pay balance.
This has been a VERY VERY long wknd waiting ,wondering if I'm keeping my current rides OR if Dodge will accually make enough cars for all??
Pricing seems different as usual between Canadians and Americans. :(
In Canada it comes standard with the automatic and you have too pay 1K more for the stick. Satin black hood another 1K here
I really hope us Canadians don't get the short end of the stick with these cars and AVALIABLITY, they are after all made in CANADA!! I bet there are 50 guys working in the plant with hopes of owning one...

Come on DODGE some lifelong LOYAL customers are waiting for you to let the Cat out of the bag:thumbsup:
Make enough of these BAD KITTIES for everyone

I will update this ASAP once I here definitively from my dealer.

Here is a pic of my current babies :)

You have an agreement but unless you have a VON you could be waiting a bit. I have a signed agreement to at MSRP but they logged on, ordered the car and gave me my VON.

So I would check back and see.

Good luck

Dealer I went to has 10 on order. I seen the screen myself.

5 Sublime
1 Bright white
1 Granite
2 Blacks
1 B5 Blue

These are just for stock and this is 1 dealership out of 8 in my city alone in Edmonton. No special factory orders put in at this time. This is their initial allotment.

Kind of tells you that there will be a lot more Hellcat than you think. I looked at each myself and the option they had. I had to help the salesmen on the B5 paint code as they he couldn't research it but I could with RS's info sheet.

Dodge only cares about gouging us canucks ?
Why is it that the destination charge to Hawaii is about $1100 but anywhere up here is $1695 ??
Let's say you live right in Brampton and you order through Brampton Chrysler , what happens ?
The car clears the factory and is loaded on a rail car for delivery but the train never leaves the yard .
It's then offloaded onto a car hauler for transit to dealership for the happy customer .
$1695 destination charge ?? thnx Chrysler .

order banks arent open, dealers cannot order a car, as a customer you can go to a dealer and the dealer can take an order, however there is no order been placed, since dealers CANNOT ORDER YET!!!!!!
im sure Canada is no different, because a dealer took your deposit, doesnt mean they placed an order,

It was the dealer only ordering window I believe. It won't show up till later, but its there. 10 was their initial allotment on those were their 10 request. Some were 6 speeds and some autos.

I didn't spend too much time looking hard at it after they told me about deposits, and ADM's on these and even if I put in a factory order. The factory order mark up comment is what made me leave.

I told them that if they come down to MSRP, I'd be interested, but its a toy for me. I don't need to have it. I'm sure if I wait, I'll get it from somebody. Doesn't have to be them.

Balls in their court. I don't really care either way. Its not like I'm without. Pretty happy with what I have now.

Luke. July 23 for Canadian dealers. It true. All models except Shakers.

It in RS's post as well on the 2015 Info thread as well.

The deposits were for the waiting line of allocated units. First right of refusal if you don't like the color, options, or final price.

I didn't get into the factory order of it once they said ADM. I didn't push it, but they didn't tell me I couldn't, and I didn't bother to try.

dealers in the USA cannot place an order in for a kitty, cannot....and im pretty damn sure its the same in Canada....they can see the option list, the pricing etc, but cannot be keyed in......
Luke
Dealer called me on July 23 , said order banks open, placed an order and got a VON # ( Vehicle Order Number), does that not mean anything.........just because you "cannot" do it in the USA doesn't mean we cannot do it in Canada.
