Ordered my HC from a dealership in Montreal on August 13th. Have been provided a VON but as of today, no change in the status. Was never given information on priority or schedule # and not sure what this would tell me.

Plan on checking back in two weeks. Dealership mentioned they expect it on the November production run which makes me think they were not chosen for the 1st allocation?

There was a report on how Dodge plans on allocating the cars to prevent dealers from gouging.

Has anyone actually been provided with a VIN for their order?

It's a real shame that we can't use the Chrysler VOTS system to track the status of our orders because it is a US centric system and there is nothing like it available for Chrysler Canada customers.

I called Customer Service with my Vehicle Order Number to ask if they can tell me the status and they stated they do not have access to the DealerCONNECT system and the only way is to call the dealership directly so they can look it up in the system.

Problem is they are busy selling cars and don't always have time to address calls by inquiring customers on the status of their order.

Wish there was a more customer friendly process that doesn't entail calling the sales person just to look it up in the system. Something that mirrors what Chrysler US customers experience with VOTS.

I received a phone call the other day to inform me one of the orders ahead of mine at the dealership has been scheduled for production.
I'm number 7 in line at dealership, really starting to have my doubts about being able to get a hellcat.
There are 35 MILLION people in Canada and at Moparfest they admitted to ONLY 100 cars being made for Canada
They did say they will increase that number but DIDNT say by how many??!!

I gave a $34K deposit in July, all I have is a VON at the moment :(

Finding this whole process very frustrating like everyone else.

I am in Montreal and placed my order in August. Traded in my car and left a deposit. Obtained a VON shortly thereafter buy my dealer advised me that it did not make the first production allocation which was for 3 months and therefore I would have to wait until the second allocation in December 2014 to see if my order gets processed by Dodge.

So, I don't expect anything to move until at least December and realistically don't expect to get a VIN until mid to late 1st quarter of next year, which is fine since I wouldn't be driving the car in the winter anyway.

I'll be checking back with the dealer in mid December to see if the status has changed.

Does anyone know how/where I can look up the status of my VON? Since I'm in Canada and ordered through a local dealership, the VOTS does not work and SRT customer service was not able to help me.

To add to my frustration, my salesmen has been promising an update for two months and all I am asking him for is the VON status code (want to know if it made it to BX and awaiting allocation) as well as the priority and scheduling build but he always finds a reason why these cannot be provided. Computer problems, person who has access out of the office, etc...

I checked with someone at another dealership who I used to do business with many years ago and he told me that my salesmen should be able to look this up on the Chrysler "DealerCONNECT" system but it is apparently not available for the general public to use for tracking purposes and since my salesmen can't/won't give me this, I looking for suggestions/options.

You probably won't get an update anytime soon, I have been trying for almost 3 months.I don't know anymore now than I did in July, other than I now will not have a sunroof, black hood or laguna Interior !
The dealerships basically know what they are told...NOTHING
You will just stress yourself out, the VOTS will not work, calling Chrysler is useless. So you may as well sit back and wait for the car that may or may not come

After today, my patience has all but run out..............

Lots of other Canadian members were provided with the VON status code by their dealership. I'm not looking for a build date or when I will get a VIN as I don't expect any movement until at least December when there is the next allocation.

I just want to know the VON status code to determine if it passed edit and is waiting for allocation, which is exactly what many others are receiving from their dealership and I'm wondering why mine won't provide me with this...

It doesn't matter if there are US or Canadian orders, bottom line is the allocation system is seriously flawed.
SOLD ORDERS should have been shipped first to dealers. It burns my azz to see these things on Ebay and dealers selling to the highest bidder or setting up a "lottery" for cars that are in their stock.
The VP of marketing for Canada sent out a letter to retailers on Nov 5 saying that demand for the car is exceeding production and to tell customers there was no guarantee of production timing for 2015 model year and there could be an extended wait for allocations.
Both Cdn and US "PAYING" customers, being "SOLD ORDERS", should have been allocated first ,
Dodge, you reading this???, that would have been the "FAIR WAY"
I am sure there are 100's of US customers that also traded in their vehicles and/or put down hefty deposits only to be disappointed after the fact.
I like many others ordered the car the first day it was available to order, in good faith, and there was no mention of, I may not get the car because the speculators need to get their cars first. In fact, I had to sign a sales order that was forwarded to Dodge from my dealer to confirm, it was a "Sold" order and it was not a dealer speculation stock order...so what happened???
Had I known, I certainly would not have laid down a 45K deposit ( which dealer still has by the way ) and traded in my car.

I am sure SRT/Dodge/Chrysler monitor this site, so are we going to get an answer ? Thanks in advance

Rant over

I share your frustration. I traded my 2013 Camaro and placed left a deposit when I ordered in August. Received a VON and was told recently by my delaer they did not get an allocation in the 1st round and will have to wait to see what happens in December when Dodge issues 2nd allocation.

My rep said that according to their district manager, allocations should be raised early in the new year and they are expected to be building the sold order sometime after second allocation. He said that was a sold order committee which that reviews orders sold by dealers without allocation.

Based on what I read about Dodge confirming there have been over 5,000 orders for the Hellcats, it would suggest that almost all the dealers took orders without any allocation, just like mine.

I am going to hang on until after the holidays. Hopefully Dodge will get the communication straightened out with their dealerships/customers and will have some projections on when the existing orders would be fulfilled.
